How to find the serial number on a Mac

Need help finding the serial number for your Mac device? Here are some steps to help you locate it:

 

Method 1: About This Mac

  1. Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select "About This Mac" from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the "About This Mac" window, you will see a summary of your Mac. Click on "Overview."
  4. The serial number is listed in this section.

 

Method 2: System Report

  1. Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
