Include your Mac’s serial number when asking the Help Desk for device support. Use the serial number, not the BSD asset sticker number.
Find it in macOS
- Open the Apple menu at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Choose About This Mac.
- Find Serial Number in the window.
If the Mac will not turn on
Look for the serial number printed on the underside of the Mac. If it is unreadable, tell the Help Desk and include the BSD asset sticker number instead.
