The Boise School District uses a Managed Print Service contract with Fisher’s Technology to improve the support, repair and efficiency of printers throughout the Boise School District.
Included with this program is the replacement of toner cartridges for printers, but does not apply to copiers which are still managed by Boise Office Equipment. Printers that use ink (liquid) and non-networked printers are not included in the program. You may have supplies ordered for those devices through your site administration assistant. If it is a network problem place a help ticket for District IT help.
Charges are accrued based on a cost per page count, not per toner purchase. You are encouraged to print black and white whenever possible. Each school remains responsible for purchasing paper.
Supported printers have an FEQ identifier sticker. Always include the FEQ number when you have any service needs or supply requests. To order toner or service for your printer, submit a Help Desk Ticket or by emailing: [email protected] or call ext. 6670. For the ticket to be most efficient please fill out the form as directed in this link.
The IT Help Desk facilitates the communication with Fisher’s to get the necessary repairs and/or toner replacements delivered to your site.
The printer contract also includes a recycle program for used toner cartridges. Please place used cartridges in the designated recycle bins placed in the building. Contact BSD Help desk to schedule a pick-up when the bin is full.
