The Boise School District has entered into a Managed Print Service contract with Fisher’s Technology. We have engaged this program to improve the support, repair and efficiency of printers throughout the Boise School District.
This contract includes replacement of toner cartridges for printers, but does not apply to copiers which are still managed by Boise Office Equipment. Printers that use ink (liquid) also not supported by this program. Ink printers and printers non-networked or not included in the program can have supplies ordered as it has been in the past and a network problem you can still place a help ticket for District IT help.
Charges are accrued based on a cost per page count. You are encouraged to print black and white when possible. Each school remains responsible for purchasing paper.
Supported printers have an FEQ identifier sticker. When you have any service needs or supply requests for those identified devices reach out to the Boise School District Help Desk by entering a Help Desk ticket at https://support.boiseschools.org, or emailing to [email protected] or call xt 6670.
The IT Help Desk facilitates the communication with Fisher’s to get the necessary repairs and/or toner replacements. For toner previously purchased, a credit has been issued back to the District. You are encouraged to use stored toner sooner than later as toner does have a shelf life. For the ticket to be most efficient please fill out the form as directed in this link.
The printer contract also includes a recycle program for used toner cartridges. Please place used cartridges in the designated recycle bins placed in the building. There will be a scheduled monthly pickup of used cartridges when the complete program set-up is completed however, at this time, contact BSD Help desk to schedule a pick-up.

Without an FEQ# a printer request will be addressed with IT Site Client Services to determine how to resolve problems.
