If projector speakers have an obnoxious buzz
DVD or VHS players may buzz when the speaker has been dormant. If that is the case, turning down the volume on the actual speaker and up on the PC helps but does not eliminate it completely. In most cases unplugging either the red or white cable from the back of the DVD/VHS player will eliminate the buzzing sound. There is no way to eliminate the buzz completely without doing this.
Typically most videos will play fine if left this way, however, it can however affect videos that use stereo since the audio is split between right and left speakers. If one of them is unplugged the speakers audio won't be heard.
Possible fix: Stereo female mini-jack to 2 Male RCA plug adapter Audio Y-Cable.
