The accounts impacted are:
- AD School Desktop
- Google (Gmail)
- Infinite Campus (if applicable)
- MyApps page
For security purposes, you will be notified through your BSD gmail that your password is set to expire. The notification email will be addressed to you including expiration date, see this example:
This is a message from your Boise School District IT Department. Your Active Directory/Network password is due to expire in A# of days on TheDateofExpire.
To avoid being denied access to your BSD accounts, please update your password using the Self Service Password Reset shortcut in MyApps.boiseschools.org as shown.
You can also visit MyAccount.boiseschools.org and provide your current credentials to register for the service, or make changes to your account.
Boise School District IT Services
A self-service password management tool is available that allows you to manage your password. Using this tool requires registration. Here's how:
- Browse to https://myaccount.boiseschools.org
- Or use your MyApps icon -Self Service Password Reset
- Click Register / Update My Account
- Log in with your current District credentials
- Click on User Setup Wizard or see the Dashboard for the registration process to manage your account.
If you've previously provided answers to your security questions, you'll see:
Reminder: When the password has already expired please contact help desk to get a reset. Changing password through Gmail, IC (if applicable), or other MyApps application is not an option.
Sync Google Account
You may need to select Link Data then Click Yes I'm In, this is important to help keep your BSD Google account secure. Again, please remember to re-sync your Google account, not syncing can cause problems accessing other District accounts.
